焊工證與焊接工藝評定是CE認證中經常涉及到的，企業在做CE認證的時候，比如壓力設備、建材類產品時，往往會需要同時考取焊工證，下面對國際焊工證和焊接工藝評定做了簡要介紹。

國際焊工證

焊工是各種金屬材料製造業和工業中的裁縫，他的焊接技能不僅決定了產品的質量，更直接涉及到產品使用人員的人身安全。歐盟認為只有擁有合格資質的焊工才能確保焊接工作的專業度及卓越品質。

考取歐盟焊工證的作用：

2. 2. 掌握紮實的焊接專業理論用以指導並解決焊接缺陷問題，成為焊接領域的技術性人才。

EN287-1將被取代

歐洲鋼的焊工考試標準EN287-1:2011已於2013年被國際焊工考試標準ISO9606-1:2012所取代。歐洲各個國家已將此標準 轉化為各自的國家標準，例如在德國，該標準為DIN EN ISO 9606-1:2013-12; 在英國則為BS EN ISO9606-1。新的ISO9606-1已經開始實施，而舊的標準EN287-1將於2015年10月廢止。

新的ISO9606-1與EN287-1最大的區別在於按照焊接材料劃分組別（FM1~FM5）代替原來的按照母材材料劃分組別（1~11），焊工證書的有效期也由原來的2年更改為2年或3年。

同樣，歐洲焊接操作工考試標準EN1418:1998也被國際標準ISO14732:2013所取代。歐洲各國也已經將此標準轉化為國家標準，舊的標準EN1418將於2014年2月廢止。新標準除將證書有效期延長為3年外，內容上沒有本質的區別。

國際焊接工藝評定

焊接工藝評定（Welding Procedure Qualification，簡稱WPQ) 為驗證所擬定的銲件焊接工藝的正確性而進行的試驗過程及結果評價。

焊接工藝評定目的：

1. 1. 評定施銲單位是否有能力焊出符合相關國家或行業標準、技術規範所要求的焊接接頭；
2. 2. 驗證施銲單位所擬訂的焊接工藝規程（WPS或pWPS）是否正確。
3. 3. 為製定正式的焊接工藝指導書或焊接工藝卡提供可靠的技術依據。
